SiteBackup is our centralized backup solution that runs on the SiteManager Platform. It represents the evolution of our previous Site Manager backup capabilities, enhanced with new features and improved performance.

SiteBackup efficiently handles diverse environments, supporting systems from Windows XP SP3 to Windows 11.

SiteBackup uses a flexible single-seat licensing model, allowing you to pay only for the systems you need to protect. Whether you're managing a handful of endpoints or thousands of systems, you can scale your protection precisely to match your requirements.

By default, subscription plans auto-renew. However, your payment and terms are managed independently by our payment subscription provider Cleverbridge, you can update your auto renewal preference at any time via the Billing section in your Macrium Account or via the link included in your original purchase email.

We believe it is critically important that you can still access your backups even after your subscription plan may expire. Therefore, SiteBackup in the SiteManager Platform will automatically fall back to restore-only mode, meaning you can still access your data for as long as you need.

Yes, SiteBackup maintains complete compatibility with existing Site Manager backups. Your historical backups remain fully accessible and protected, allowing you to transition at your own pace.

We've simplified our licensing terminology. What were previously known as MALs (Macrium Agent Licenses) are now called SiteBackup seats. One SiteBackup seat equals one Macrium agent license, and these will be converted automatically during the upgrade process. The key improvement is that you can now purchase seats individually, rather than in bundles of 10, giving you more flexibility to buy exactly what you need.

SiteBackup reduces costs in multiple ways: by getting systems back online faster, minimizing administrative overhead through centralized management, and enabling you to maximize ROI on existing hardware. The centralized agent deployment and license management significantly reduce the time and resources needed for system administration.

Yes, SiteBackup is designed for multi-site operations, allowing you to centrally manage and monitor backups across all your locations from a single dashboard.

SiteBackup features easy-to-use boot media with automated server connectivity, requiring no technical expertise. The built-in PXE server and centralized driver management make system recovery quick and straightforward, even across different hardware configurations.

SiteBackup includes Macrium Image Guardian (MIG) for ransomware protection, offline activation capabilities for sensitive air-gapped environments and systems, and integrates with Active Directory for advanced user management.

Unfortunately trial editions of Macrium Reflect X are not available in the SiteManager Platform. However, trial SiteBackup keys can be entered in SiteManager Platform by starting a free 30-day trial via the SiteBackup page Here.

You will need to uninstall Reflect from your computers individually, and then enter all the license keys into SiteManager Platform as SiteBackup seats. You can then install the agent onto computers as you wish.
